The logo for DeDecker's and Switzer's Exhibition

The dynamic sculpture of Jane DeDecker and rhythmic painting of Nancy Switzer were presented together in a special double exhibition.

At the request of the artists, branding for the event was kept subtle. This allowed the work to truly shine and highlighted the cohesion between DeDecker and Switzer's pieces.

Attention was paid particularly to the use of textures in the work of both artists.

I built a simple digital exhibition with some cusom styling and in-house photography of the work. A couple media queries ensure the experience remains consistent across devices.

An advertisement teasing the exhibition. Using both the clay, yet to be cast in bronze, for DeDecker and a close-up detail shot of a piece in oil by Switzer.

Special catalogues were created for both artists individually. Flip through them above.

When photographing Switzer's art, avoiding glare on the highly textured painting became extremely important. I found the best solution to minimize the specularity was to take long, stable exposures of the pieces in relatively dark areas.
