Throughout the month of August 2024, over fifty painters, sculptors, and fine artisans joined their work for a special group exhibition in honor of Will James.
The exhibition was promoted through traditional advertising as well as a targeted social media posts leading to further reach and boosting non-local sales.
I made a special digital exhibition, allowing each artist to shine in their own section easily linked by simple navigation to peruse the whole show, or offer a quick find of a specific artist.
Styling was also heavily considered to allow the digital exhibition to feel like a seperate entity from the rest of Claggett/Rey's web presence.

The direction for visual identity with Cowboys North and South was overwhelming influenced by the book covers and illustration of Will James himself.
The logo for the exhibition, set in Griffon by Dharma Type, resembles the original printing of the eponymous book the entire exhibition celebrated.
To help sophisticate the aesthetic, I opted for a slightly cooler red as the main color for the show. Images and photography, when presented in black and white, were also filtered to cool them off a bit.
